Our Story

LARYVEA is a women’s  lifestyle brand  rooted in intentional living, thoughtfully selected pieces for movement, self-care and everyday life. 

There was a time when I believed life was about doing more. Working harder. Achieving more. Taking care of everyone else before taking care of myself.

Like many women, I wore being busy like a badge of honour. I thought slowing down meant I wasn’t doing enough.

Until one day, my mind and body asked me to stop.

Burnout wasn’t the end of my story. It was the beginning of a different way of living.

Healing didn’t come from finding the next solution. It came from returning to the simplest things.

Walking through the forest. Feeling the warmth of a sauna. Moving my body because it made me feel alive, not because I wanted to change the way it looked. Watching the seasons change. Taking a deep breath. Being present.

Little by little, something changed inside me.

The more still I became, the more beauty I could see. Not because the world had changed. Because I had.

I began to notice the morning light through the trees, the sound of birds before the world woke up, the calm that comes from walking without a destination.

I started noticing small moments that I would have once rushed past.

One afternoon, I met a farmer while I was out walking. His wife introduced me to one of their horses, who was thirty years old. Standing beside her was her daughter.

As they walked back to the stable, I watched the daughter stay close to her mother. There was no hesitation. No uncertainty. She simply followed, knowing exactly where she belonged.

No words. Just trust. Just love.

That moment stayed with me. There was something in its simplicity—something I might once have walked past without noticing.

Those moments became my greatest teachers.

La Rouge was born during a season when I was searching. Laryvea was born when I stopped searching and started noticing.

The name changed because I changed.

but the mission remained.

When an unexpected turn brought change to the business I had spent months building, I found myself coming back to one simple question:

How do I continue the mission?

That question kept me focused on what mattered.

The name could change. The brand could evolve. But the reason I began was still there.

I wanted to create thoughtfully for women. And I wanted to build something with a purpose beyond what we sell—something that, as it grows, can contribute to a greater cause and help create opportunity for others.

I began to understand that I didn’t need to hold tightly to what LARYVEA was supposed to look like. I could allow it to become what it was meant to be.

LARYVEA became a new expression of a purpose that was already there.

Laryvea is more than a brand to me. It’s a reflection of the life I’m choosing every single day.

A life rooted in simplicity. A life that makes room for stillness. A life where wellness isn’t about perfection but about presence.

Overtime my understanding of  wellness began to change for me me  it became less about doing more and more noticing more noticing what brought me back to myself.

 For me, sometimes it looks like choosing a walk through the forest instead of another hour of rushing.

It’s sitting in the warmth of a sauna and allowing your shoulders to soften.

It’s moving your body because you’re grateful for what it can do.

It’s making time to rest without feeling guilty.

It’s learning that caring for yourself is not selfish.

As women, we so naturally care for everyone around us. We nurture. We support. We give.

I know that because that was me.

Somewhere along the way, I realized that if I wanted to continue giving to the people I love, I first had to learn how to give that same kindness to myself.

That simple realization changed my life.

My hope is that Laryvea becomes more than a place you visit.

I hope it becomes a feeling.

A place where something you read, something you experience, or something we create gives you a reason to pause—even if only for a moment.

Not because I have the answers. I don’t.

I’m still learning, growing, observing, and finding my own way.

But I’ve learned there can be meaning in simply sharing what we notice along the way.

Not because life is perfect. But because these small moments remind us what truly matters.

This journey has taught me something I carry with me every day:

Beauty has always been here. Sometimes we just need to become still enough to see it.
